Spoken word
The Mother Wolf Club started as a vehicle to offer poetry to new audiences by combining it in live shows with musical artists, comedy and cabaret. Since then we've worked with some of the most exciting wordsmiths in the business. We are not a booking agency, we are event makers. Take a look at some of the artists we love to programme on our lineups below.
Harry Baker

With 6 million views of one youtube video alone Harry Baker, it's safe to say is one of our go to guys for exciting new audiences about spoken word. He performs all over the world and the reviews say it all;
“Simply put... The greatest performer on earth” ***** (BBC Radio 1)“Spectacularly Witty” ***** (Whatsonstage) “Blistering wordplay” ***** (Threeweeks) “Not one syllable out of place” ***** (The Wee Review) “The Spell Over The Audience Is Tangible” ***** (Broadway Baby) .

Kid Anansi is the poetic equivalent of finding out that the drinks machine in your local McDonalds has quietly replaced its Pepsi button with spiced rum. He is confusing, frightening, delicious with ginger beer and lemon, and unhealthy in large doses.
